This past week (Thursday, July 23rd, to be exact) Voltage had the pleasure of being invited to this year’s AMBIT Awards! This event was hosted virtually and was put on by the KCDMA.
Our team decided to host our own small party at the office to celebrate and view the show together. With our masks on and White Claws in hand, we watched the live presentation of the awards.
To catch you up, Voltage submitted projects ranging from SEO to PPC and Social Media, and one for Response-Driven Web.
The categories were submitted as follows:
- SEO: Cullum & Brown
- SEO: Texas Dermatology Practice
- PPC/SEO: RedesignKC
- Social Media: Dordt
- SEO: Kicksite
- Response-Driven Web: Cullum & Brown
After a long start of the evening telling jokes and participating in some friendly office competition, the awards finally began.
The Voltage team also submitted a video to the AMBITS committee showcasing our office culture, which was played during breaks in the show (we’ll get that uploaded so everyone can bear witness to our genius team of employees).
Finally, it was time to hear the results….
First up, the categories for our client, Cullum & Brown.
Cullum & Brown is a B2B company that provides compressed air services including compressors, vacuum pumps, and blowers. They provide sales of new equipment as well as service for existing equipment within the brands they sell plus others in place.
For the 2019 SEO Campaign, Voltage brought home the gold for our efforts on Cullum & Brown’s SEO as well as gold for Response-Driven Web.
Our work on Cullum & Brown also won us the Most Bang for Your Buck award! This award is one of the more exclusive awards of the evening and is given to the entry that exhibited the best return on investment and overall impact.
In addition, our Paid Search Marketing and SEO campaigns for our client RedesignKC brought home two golds! RedesignKC is a full-service Kansas City remodeling contractor offering comprehensive design-build services for residential and commercial clients in the KC area.
Continuing on the award train, Voltage also won two silvers for our work on the B2C Digital Media/Advertising Dordt Social Media campaigns and the Organic Search Engine Marketing work on the 2019 Kicksite SEO campaign.
While this recap might seem like a bit of a humblebrag, we really just want to highlight the impressive work done by our marketing team and their endless talents represented in their channels! We’re incredibly proud to work with the people on our staff, and seeing the fruits of our labor come to life through 7 AMBIT awards is an awesome experience we want to share with our community.
