Corey Morris, Director of Digital Strategy & Marketing at Voltage, spoke at the Kansas City Search Engine Marketing August meeting at the Sprint Accelerator building. Corey spoke about the challenges a PPC specialist or SEO strategist finds in an organization when trying to bring search marketing out from just a siloed marketing channel to part of the company culture. Corey has seen first-hand how companies don’t budget for SEM, so he knew it was an important topic to speak about. In fact, only 21% of companies put SEM into their marketing plan. Corey found ways to integrate SEM tasks and data within marketing departments and companies as a whole to help with collaboration and the integration of many marketing channels. Corey also gave tips on building a successful partnership with an agency if you have multiple companies/teams involved in your digital marketing.  Thank you, Corey, for sharing your thoughts on this very important topic!
